Found as a stray roaming a local neighborhood, this sweet boy has quickly become a favorite among the staff and volunteers at our shelter. His affectionate nature makes him an instant attraction—Rudolph is what we lovingly call a "velcro dog." It's true! He thrives on human interaction and loves nothing more than to be by your side.

Personality

Rudolph adores people! You can hold this big guy like a baby, and he’ll snuggle right into your arms. His gentle demeanor makes him perfect for families and individuals alike. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll or embarking on an adventure, he is a joy to walk, as he does exceptionally well on a leash, ready to explore the world with you by his side.

Good with Other Pets

Rudolph is a friendly and social dog. He takes treats ever so gently, showcasing his kind nature. While he isn’t bothered by other dogs and can share a space with them wonderfully, we have yet to introduce him to cats. We will keep you updated on how he interacts with them, but he is certainly open to making new furry friends!

Health and Care

This sweet boy has been through a tough time, spending weeks roaming the streets in search of food. As a result, Rudolph needs to gain a little weight to get him back to full health. With a loving home and proper nutrition, we are confident he will flourish.
