Volunteering With The SPCA of the Triad

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the SPCA of the Triad relies on the assistance of caring, hardworking volunteers in many forms. Help us continue rescuing and rehabilitating the Triad's animals in desperate need of a second chance.

We can't wait to meet you. We are wagging in anticipation.

Volunteer Program

All volunteers must attend Volunteer Orientation. Our orientation sessions are held monthly at our adoption center. We will contact you once you submit your volunteer application with orientation availability and scheduling. You must be 18 years of age to volunteer without a guardian present. If you are 10 years old and above, your legal guardian must apply to volunteer, attend our volunteer orientation, and work alongside you.

Please click the link below to join our organization on the Bloomerang Volunteer app. This is a volunteer management platform that helps us provide you with the best experience possible. We require 2 hours of volunteer service monthly. We also encourage our volunteers to purchase an SPCA of the Triad Volunteer shirt for $7.00.

Pet Profile Committee

Pet Profile: Do you love writing or taking pictures? You can help us showcase our animals on social media and help them find their forever families. This committee meets monthly, but you can work independently.

Development Committee

Do you think outside the box? Are you creative? Do you love talking to people? Love promotions, content writing, and sharing your passion? We want you! The Development Committee oversees marketing, promotions, awareness, special events, fundraising, and more. We meet monthly with projects in-between meetings.

Facilities Committee

Do you get excited thinking about your new project? Do you love tools and improving things? This is the volunteer committee for you! Help us with facility improvements and repairs so our animals have the best temporary home possible.

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the SPCA Of The Triad.

We appreciate you, and the furries do too!
