Frederick is an all-black house panther and a high-energy kitten with a colorful little rap sheet. He is curious, playful, and absolutely convinced that everything, including your hands, is an appropriate toy.

He’s still working on his social skills and can get a little too enthusiastic, occasionally nipping or throwing paws when he’s excited or frustrated. Because of this, Frederick needs a patient person who understands that he is a work in progress, not a finished product.

The good news? He’s still a good boy. He just needs continued socialization, appropriate outlets for his kitten energy, and humans willing to teach him that hands are for petting, not recreational combat.

With patience, structure, interactive toys, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Frederick has every opportunity to retire from his life of petty crime and become a respectable member of society.

His record may be questionable, but his heart is in the right place.

Frederick is currently seeking a furever home willing to take a chance on a mischievous little felon with a lot of love—and absolutely no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

Adopt Frederick. Give this tiny criminal a second chance. He promises nothing.

Adopting from the SPCA of the Triad means giving your new companion a healthy and happy start! Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and heartworm testing, so you can feel confident your furry friend is ready for their new home.

Frederick also comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
