At 2 years old, this stunning 55-lb Border Collie mix is fabulously intelligent. True to her breed, she thrives on mental stimulation and absolutely lights up when given puzzle toys, Kongs, or interactive games to solve. Curious and engaged, she loves exploring her surroundings and putting her sharp mind to work. After she’s burned off her energy, she transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug — more than happy to lean in for hugs and soak up your love.  At the end of the day, she loves nothing more than curling up on the couch for cuddles and relaxing while you watch a Netflix movie together.

 

Desmo is quiet and calm in her crate, settling in like a pro. Although she has had some resource guarding in the past, she does exceptionally well in an environment where trust is established, boundaries are clear, and consistency is practiced, giving her the space to thrive. With the right guidance, she blossoms beautifully.
