Introducing Dana
Dana is the total package wrapped in fur — brilliant, beautiful, and bursting with personality. This gentle girl has the kind of soulful eyes that stop people in their tracks and a heart overflowing with love for her humans. She absolutely thrives on affection and attention, yet still keeps that charming independent streak that makes her feel like the cool, mysterious heroine of a dog movie. Dana does wonderfully with children ages 2 and up and absolutely adores them, bringing a calm, loving energy wherever she goes. She’s also fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, making her an easy fit for a family looking to add another furry companion. Whether she’s calmly strolling beside you on a leash, quietly observing the chaos around her like royalty, or giving you one of her rare dramatic shepherd moments, Dana knows exactly how to steal the spotlight without ever demanding it.
This stunning German Shepherd mix is 3 years old and weighs a statuesque 78 pounds of pure elegance and loyalty. Dana is wonderfully leash-trained, incredibly crate-mannered, and impressively calm indoors — even when other dogs are putting on a full barking concert around her. She’s not much of a barker herself, though every once in a while she’ll surprise you with an adorable howl just to remind everyone she’s still got a little flair of her own. Smart as a whip and emotionally intuitive, Dana is the kind of dog who understands more than she lets on.
But the real magic of Dana is her heart. She’s affectionate without being clingy, intelligent without being overwhelming, and independent while still deeply loyal to her people. Public places can make her a little nervous at times, but with love and reassurance, she shines brighter every day. Dana isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her people, the lucky family who gets to experience the loyalty, intelligence, and unforgettable sparkle of this incredible girl.
