Adoption Stories

Hello Ms. Lori and other wonderful staff at the Triad SPCA.

It's Frankie. (aka Eli). I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know me and Eddie (aka Evan) are doing great. Our new home is working out very well. Ma and Dad say we are the best puppies. We have nice toys to play with. We go for walks and car rides and Ma and Dad love to snuggle. Ma snuggles at night. She says we are her snuggle bunnies. She apparently has bad vision. Dad lets us snuggle with him in his big comfy chair during the day. Ma says we make Dad happy. We love all the new smells when we take walks. MA say says something about it helping her exercise? We just like the smells. Dad loves to cook and it makes the house smell great too. We keep a close eye on him while he cooks. In case he needs us or something drops. Occasionally he will share a tasty treat with us. Ma says she thinks we may be gaining weight.

Ma says Eddie will eventually learn that those chickens he continuously barks at are part of his "new pack". Eddie says they look like they would be fun to chase and mighty tasty. Ma says she is confident he will learn. She says we are very smart. I could have told her that.

Ma and Dad took us to the VET last week. Everyone loved us. That lady Dr. poked us a lot. Eddie was not happy. We got lots of treats that day and extra snuggles.

Hope everyone there is doing well and all the animals find good homes like we did. Thanks for helping MA and Dad adopt us. We will try to take care of them like they take care of us.

Lots of love and Licks-- Frankie

Dear Ms. Lori.

Ditto to what lil Budder said.

I got to go bark at the chickens!

Sincerely,

Eddie DA BUSY MAN!

Max

Max says Merry Christmas. He wants to say thank you for giving him a home with his sis, Dusty and his mom and dad who love him more than words can say. You gave us such a blessing who has added such joy, happiness and love beyond reproach. Wishing you a most wonderful Christmas Day. Our prayers to our wonderful Donna and her Ashwee (as we call her) peace love and joy to all of the four legged babies everywhere. Love Dom and Fran.

Buster

Look at Buster in his new home! He looks so happy. His new owner Don writes: I can not believe tomorrow ill be a month since we saved each other. He means the world to me. If it was not for the SPCA I would have never found him. Everyone knew how much I loved my previous Buster, and in just a short time later I found another Boxer with the exact same name. What are the chances! It was meant to be and I would do it all over again. I pray for the animals and the work that you do daily.

Coach

His new family writes: Here is our sweet Coach. He is doing wonderful and we love him so much. He is fitting into his fur ever home beautifully. We are so glad we met Coach. He is just the best! He loves the snow, cuddling and just being with me or my husband. Thank you SPCA of The Triad for the wonderful work you do! Coach says thank you too!

Smooshie

His new forever mom writes: I love him so much and he is the best cat I have ever adopted. I always tell everyone how great your organization is and how you helped introduce me to Smooshie. He is my silly, lovable, and faithful companion, and I cannot see myself living without my new best friend. I needed him as much as he needed me. I cannot get enough of my flat faced love bug!

Liam (now Jasper)

His new mom writes: We could not ask for a sweeter kitten! Jasper is such a love bug! He is doing great and we are all head over heels for him!

Silver Bullet (now Zeus)

His new mom writes: He enjoys windows so much. He soaks up the sunshine when he can. Zeus is one happy kitty! He gets more handsome all the time!

Hershi

He loves everyone and even loves the other SPCA animals in his family ... some of which bark!

Harper and Holly

They are enjoying the good life! They came to SPCA as tiny kittens!

Presto

His new owners have deemed him their snuggly ninja kitty! We are happy to hear that he has settled in well to his new family.

OMalley

His new owner Kelsey says he makes a great study buddy!

Sunday (now Tucker)

His new family writes: We love him so much - he is just a great blessing... and what a personality!

Mack

Mack is loving his new home and his new family and they love him too! There is no way you can look at Mack and not smile. He is such a love!

Tripp

His new family writes: Tripp has been a great addition to our family as a companion to us and our dog Sara. He is a very happy, loving dog who always puts a smile on our faces. We are so thankful that the SPCA of the triad and People and Paws 4 Hope brought Tripp into our family and gave him a second chance at life.

BamBam (now Krypto)

He found the perfect home! We rarely have a dog who loves to run more than BamBam did so he found the perfect active family! He was a long time resident at the SPCA but as you can see, it was worth the wait for him to get the all time best home!
